Railing lack held in balance

Dear Editor,

I have in recent times been to auditoriums or theatres for a show of some kind or another. One such place was the Heritage Park Senior Secondary in Mission, where we attended our granddaughter's graduation ceremonies in June.

The stairway to our seat was down about half way to the bottom. There are no handrails for people like me to grab and hold onto on the way down.

Because I have a very challenged sense of balance, I need an arm to hold onto. Or I cannot go there, because I am somewhat disabled by this poor sense of balance.

Surely, beside each row of seats there could and should be a handrail for such as me. I am sure that I am not the only one with some sort of affliction. Am I?
