Fairness in the process followed by the Cultus Lake Park Board (CLPB) for increasing fees at Sunnyside campground in 2010 made it into Provincial Ombudsperson Kim Carter's 2011/12 Annual Report released on Tuesday.

Carter investigated after hearing "a number of related complaints" about the lack of consultation regarding increased fees.

Another issue related to refunds of administration fees and a typographical error in the Sunnyside Bylaw.

The CLPB agreed to refund the administration fees to affected campers and Carter closed the file.
