An 11-year-old girl has gone missing from her Maple Ridge home.

Ridge Meadows RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating Asia Kashino.

Asia is described as an aboriginal female, five feet, six inches tall weighing about 130 pounds.

She has brown eyes, black hair which is usually tied back in a pony tail, and is possibly wearing a white sweater with black writing on the front, a black nylon jacket with a pink strip along the arm, blue jeans, and blue running shoes.

“Anytime a young person goes missing, police become very concerned,” said Ridge Meadows RCMP Sgt. Dale Somerville. “I’ve been advised that Asia went missing sometime between 10 p.m. last night (Thursday, Oct. 11) and 7:30 a.m. this morning (Friday). Asia should be in possession of her fuchsia pink bicycle. At this time Asia’s whereabouts are unknown, but it is possible she may go to New Westminster.”

Anyone with any information regarding Asia’s whereabouts is asked to call Ridge Meadows RCMP at 604-463-6251.
