A trip to a remote fishing lodge on the British Columbia coastline is the prize in the second annual Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation lottery.
There are only 2,250 tickets available, and last year the tickets sold out two weeks in advance for a trip to Duncanby Lodge for two people.
The prize, worth $8,400, includes return flights from Vancouver, accommodation, meals, snacks, and house beer and wine.
The winning ticket will be drawn on April 3 at 6 p.m. at the Billy Miner Pub and Alehouse. The trip must be used between June 18 and July 16.
Tickets are available at the Billy Miner Pub and Alehouse, Witch of Endor Liquor Store, the Office Liquor Store, and at the Outpost Liquor Store.
Tickets are $10 each or three for $25. The prize package has been donated by the lodge (for more information, go to www.duncanbylodgemarina.com).
Last year, the lottery brought in more than $17,000 for the foundation, and Maple Ridge resident Franz Prokop won the prize package.
