The Abbotsford Heat will prepare for their morning home game on Tuesday looking to bounce back from a 4-1 loss to the Texas Stars on Sunday.

The Heat allowed two power play goals against - including the winner. Friday night, the Heat beat the Stars 2-1 as Krys Kolanos made his return to the lineup, scored and was named the first star in the game.

The Sunday loss leaves the Heat in fifth spot in the West. A goal at 12: 47 of the second period would give the Stars their first lead. The Heat tied the game on the power play in the third as Clay Wilson redirected a Kolanos pass into the Texas net. Kolanos has two points over his first two games back after a 25 day spell with the Calgary Flames.

The Stars pulled away in the third frame with three unanswered goals. Leland Irving made his first home start since November and stopped four goals on 36 shots.
