Meadow Ridge Barracudas Midget girls won gold in their division at the Kamloops Female Hockey Tournament on Sunday, Nov. 25.

Barracudas went 24-0 in scoring during the round robin, with most-valuable-player performances by Julia Wood, Paige Magnusson, and goalie Danielle Cloutier.

All three of the Barracuda's lines were equally represented on the scoresheet, a key factor for their success in the tournament.

In the semi-final, Meadow Ridge defeated Penticton 6-0 with a hat-trick earned by MVP Rochelle Bergeron.

The final against Chilliwack tested the perfect record of the Barracudas but the outstanding defense of Sydney Langston, Emma Day, Jennifer Walton and Rachel Comeault kept Cloutier's record in tact, winning 3-0 against their Lower Mainland opponent.
