Bill Gardner focused on the stone as it rolled down the rink after he delivered his throw early Thursday afternoon at the Golden Ears Winter Club.

The veteran Maple Ridge curler took part in the Haney Masters Bonspiel that started Nov. 29 and wrapped up Dec. 1, with the championship game played at the GEWC.
