The rinks of Jack Stadel, Wayne Chin, and Lorne Fletcher have grabbed control of first place in Haney Master’s curling as the fall season got underway at Golden Ears Winter Club.

Stadel dropped Bill Hanula’s rink and Chin came up with a last-end victory over Bill Gardner, while Fletcher edged Peter Koehler’s rink to keep the three rinks deadlocked for first place.

With an increased number of members, 13 teams are vying for top spot in the round-robin competition with draws every Monday and Wednesday at 10 a.m.

If interested in sparing, you are invited to join the league which is made up of men older 55.

Emphasis on enjoyment, exercise, and competition in a friendly environment are the league’s goals.
