Terry Gregory moved into a first-place tie along with the Wayne Chin rink and Jack Stadel rink as the Haney Masters’ Curling League hit the half-way point in its Fall season.
Gregory’s rink brought their record to 5-1 with a victory over Ron Laxdal’s rink while Chin dropped a hard-fought game to Peter Koehler losing 7-6.
The loss left Chin’s record to 5-2 while Stadel grabbed an easy victory over Bill Gardner’s rink for a 5-2 record.
Along with Hilly Boonstra, Walter Vesa, and Peter England, Gregory managed to get hold of first spot for the first time this season.
Play continues every Monday and Wednesday at Golden Ears Curling Club.
