A 30-year-old man is in hospital after a shooting at 225th Street and North Avenue early Sunday morning. Police were called around 5 a.m. on Sept. 2 and they determined the shooting took place in an underground parking lot of an apartment building. The investigation is at the beginning stages.

According to the Ridge Meadows RCMP, details of the incident are “sketchy.”

Police said the victim was undergoing surgery on Sunday and his condition was unknown. The RCMP Lower Mainland District’s police dog services were used in the investigation.
