People continue refusing to pay their fares on transit vehicles. The operator can push a button to record this.
However, it seems that nothing is done.
It keeps happening because these parasites will endlessly repeat their crime, so long as there is no meaningful punishment.
Perhaps withhold the appropriate amount from their welfare cheque, drivers license not to be renewed, or perhaps a lien on a house, if they have one.
Why ever does officialdom just whine about it? No action means no change in the status quo.
Parasites make fares more expensive. Why should I be forced to do the heavy lifting because they wont do their share, eh?
Heres potential solution. When the operator pushes the button noting the fare has not been paid, would it not be an idea for a camera to record the face?
Hundreds of millions of dollars are lost annually because of these deplorable people.
Barriers to catch SkyTrain fare evaders are doable, yet all they do is talk about it.
A copy of the face be given to the transit police to watch for the parasites and arrest them, if and when they come into view.
Perhaps the bus stop where they got on could be noted, so the police could pay special attention at the stop they were photographed at.
Consider how widespread this is, it could pay for itself.
