Dear Editor,

Maybe all the money MP Randy Kamp and the Conservative government spent and the inspectors they hired [Years of neglect being corrected, Oct. 30 Letters, TIMES] are like the jets they want to buy: they just don't work.

It's like Prime Minister Stephen Harper standing in the house and complaining about all the millions of dollars sent to a reserve that was freezing, with no housing. He couldn't understand it, but wouldn't admit he'd made a mistake with our money.

Mr. Kamp complains about the opposition voting against a bill. Is it because it is lumped in with 400 pages of questionable pieces of law?

What if the Chinese, with all their money, don't like the new food standards? Do they ignore them or take them to court? We've had so much trouble, in and out of court, with the softwood lumber agreement with the United States. and they are friends!

Have the previous Liberal governments done anything right, or do the Conservatives have to reinvent everything?

P.S. All fish deserve protecting, even if they are not used for commerce or recreation or by First Nations people.
