A promised "balanced budget?" Give me a break. Let's look at the track record, shall we?

. BC Liberals lied and told the world the NDP left a deficit. The Auditor General investigated and said that the NDP left a large surplus.

. BC Liberals lied and told us that they would not sell BC Rail, then sold it, but not in a legitimate way. More lies and corruption ensued.

. BC Liberals told us that they would not bring in an HST, were elected on that promise, and then immediately brought in the HST.

. BC Liberals told us we would only have a deficit of half a billion dollars after the Olympics: another lie.

. BC Liberals stopped BC Hydro from competing with private power and then made them sign long-term contracts to pay friends of the BC Liberals billions of dollars for power we don't need and can only sell for about a third of the price paid, for a long-term loss to taxpayers of $50 billion.

. BC Liberals paid $6 million for the defence of two guilty defendants in the BC Rail scandal.

If we believe the BC Liberals again, well, we all know the definition of insanity.
