Police have expressed gratitude to all those who assisted in finding a missing Maple Ridge woman this weekend.

On Friday, Ridge Meadows RCMP were pleading for help to find 50-year-old Jennifer Robinson, who had last been seen at her west Maple Ridge home around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 4.

Becasue Robertson suffers from health issues, requiring her to take medication twice daily - which she didn't havewith - police were concerned and asked for public assistance.

Saturday, however, Sgt. Dale Somerville rescinded the alert, announcing that Robinson had been located by transit police, and that she was safe.
