Ridge Meadows Bantam girls Heat travelled across the Pitt River Bridge to Port Coquitlam last weekend. The U16 girls team was one of four to participate in the weekend-long softball district playoffs. The girls took a copy of their hometown newspaper, The TIMES, along on the short trip.

Maple Ridge’s Drew Barnes recently captured a picture of his wife Yani Mitchell reading The TIMES in front of the CN Tower in Toronto. They were in Ontario for a family wedding and took time out to do some sightseeing.
