MISSING SENIOR FOUND
A senior who suffers from dementia is home safe after members of the community and police rallied together.
Last Wednesday at about noon, an 82year-old woman was reported missing from her east Maple Ridge home.
Police began to search for the woman in the area around where she lives and learned that the senior had been taken to a church by a resident who had seen her, explained Somerville.
"The church then arranged for the woman to be taken to a shelter, which is where police officers located her," the sergeant said.
