Salmon return

The return of the salmon will be celebrated at Kanak Creek Regional Park on Oct. 21 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The community is invited to witness the annual return of spawning salmon to Kanaka Creek and learn about the salmon life cycle from the fish experts. Join a park interpreter for family fun games and crafts. Meet at the fish fence located on 240th Street, north of Lougheed Highway. All ages are free and registration is not required. The event is presented by Metro Vancouver and Kanaka Education and Environmental Partnership Society.
