Summers in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows naturally include trips to green spaces like Kanaka Creek, Pitt Meadows Athletic Park, and Golden Ears Provincial Park, but take care, happy trips can turn sour if belongings are stolen.

Metro Vancouver Regional Parks staff remind park visitors to take valuables like wallets, cameras and electronics with them when they visit parks or any public spaces.

Reduce the risk of theft by ensuring car windows are rolled completely up and nothing is visible in the car. If valuables are difficult to take along, leave them at home to avoid having them stolen.
