Police need the public’s help to find a missing Maple Ridge man last seen last week.

Jukka (Erik) Naskali, 52, was last seen on July 5, explained Sgt. Dale Somerville.

“But Naskali is known to travel around the Lower Mainland into Vancouver,” he elaborated, noting Naskali suffers from a medical condition that requires medication, which he does not have with him.

“This condition can cause Naskali to be unaware of his surroundings, and make it impossible to communicate with people,” Somerville said.

Naskali, who goes by the first name of Erik, is described as 6 ft. 3 in. tall, weighing 180 pounds with a slim build, and short blond hair.

He had approximately two weeks of facial hair stubble when last seen, and was wearing a black jacket and black jeans.

Anyone with information about Naskali’s whereabouts is asked to call Ridge Meadows RCMP at 604-463-6251.
