The District of Maple Ridge planning department will start gathering background information for an area planning process for Hammond after council approved the process for next year.

However, the Albion Flats continues to be the top priority for area planning, and when Agricultural Land Reserve exclusion applications are clarified for lands north of 105th Avenue, staff will begin to prepare a report for the Hammond area plan.
