Love and friendship are the focus of a special Valentine's Day family story time at Pitt Meadows Library today (Tuesday, Feb. 12).

The library at 12099 Harris Road is hosting Be My Valentine! Stories and Crafts today, from 6: 45 to 7: 45 p.m.

Visitors to the library will listen to tales about love and friendship, and will have an opportunity to create the perfect gift for their valentine.

With Feb. 14 just around the corner, the library's shelves are stocked with children's books with a Valentine's Day theme.
