Dear Editor,

Congratulations to Mr. Gordon Robson on his column dealing with the unfortunate people in our society [Homelessness first up on columnist's hit list, Nov. 20 Just Saying, TIMES]. He has the right idea that more needs to be done than just recycling shelters and food.

A solid plan is needed so individuals get the help they need. Treatment centres could be mandatory for repeat offenders.

Mr. Robson should go for it: fix this mess once and for all.
