Curlers Glenda Wonnacott, Kathleen Ferguson, Linda Winterhoff, and Maureen Wilkinson of the Wonnacott Wranglers rink held their own winning four games, but wasn’t able to out curl the first-place team – the Tracey Hill rink – at the Golden Ears Curling Club’s second annual Ladies Movember Charity Bonspiel.

“We had a really great turnout. We made more than $6,000 – double from last year,” said Shannon Touchette, one of the organizers of the cowboy-themed event.

All of the funds raised will go to the BC Cancer Society to fight prostate cancer.
