Kids full of talent

A tiebreaker was needed at the third annual Parent/Child Alternate Shot Tournament at Heather Hills Farm and Golf Course in Webster’s Corners.

Amy Ehlert and Thomas Reed both finished with a score of 63 in the 18-hole division for 12 and older, but in the tiebreaker Reed beat Ehlert by one stroke in the 18th hole.

The third-place win went to Jared Messer with a score of 66.

The nine-hole division for kids 11 and younger was filled to capacity.

With only four strokes separating first and third place in the division, this competition was not an easy win. Coming in third place with a score of 37 was Miles Reed, in second place with a score of 34 was Sienna Kraus and in first place, beating the competition by only one stroke, was Sam Corke.
