Hitchcock meets Monty Python at The ACT
The last in a series of plays on tour takes place this Sunday in Maple Ridge
The ACT hosts the Arts Club On Tour this Sunday with a comedic take of Hitchcock, starring Shawn Macdonald, Martin Happer, and David Marr.

A seductive mystery woman, an accusation of murder, a missing finger, and a mad dash to foil foreign spies - this is the premise for a play at The ACT this Sunday.
Four gifted actors play more than 150 zany characters in this Monty Python-flavoured Hitchcock spoof.
The Arts Club On Tour presentation of The 39 Steps, from the novel by John Buchan and adapted by Patrick Barlow, is considered to be a fast-paced romp through the story of Hitchcock's film.
It is characteristic of Barlow's work with his own company, the ironically named National Theatre of Brent.
The play is an evocative tribute to a 1930s Britain of cold mists, steam engines, and a clearly demarcated social system where people know their places. And at its centre, juxtaposed with the comedy, is a love story.
This is the final offering of the Arts Club On Tour 2012-13 presentations at The ACT.
The 39 Steps stars Diana Coatsworth, Martin Happer, Shawn Macdonald, and David Marr and is directed by Dean Paul Gibson.
The Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows Arts Council presents The 39 Steps this Sunday, March 10 at 7: 30 p.m. at The ACT, 11944 Haney Pl. Tickets are $42 for adults, $36 are seniors, and $15 for students.
