Dear Editor,

Don't allow opponents of the Northern Gateway Pipeline to inflict the same damage to our economic future as President Obama has attempted with the Keystone XL project.

Fortunately, the Obama administration's rejection will not be enough to kill it.

Keystone made changes, including double pipe systems through sensitive areas and additional pumping stations, all designed to address safety concerns.

The economy has never been simply been an offshoot of any Conservative government, but an integral part of it - historically, philosophically, and definitively. And it is time that everyone else get on the same page.
