RED NOSE NUMBERS

Ten drunk drivers were taken off the road in a local CounterAttack by Ridge Meadows RCMP on the weekend. The drivers lost their licence for three months for failing a breath-alyzer test and for 24 hours for blowing

a warning. Those 10 drunk drivers could have called Operation Red Nose. ORN took 62 calls - 19 on Friday and 43 on Saturday. Call 1-877-604-NOSE (6673) for a ride on Dec. 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, and 31.

OFFICER SWITCHES ROLES

A Ridge Meadows RCMP officer changed roles early Thursday morning, and put out a fire that was in front of Fire Hall #3.

The officer was patrolling near the 203rd Street hall around 3 a.m. on Nov. 29, when he was notified of the fire. Anyone with any information is asked to contact either the police at 604-4636251, or Maple Ridge fire department at

POLICE FIND RINGS

Missing a ring? Police have eight lady's rings which they took off a man who could not explain why he had them.

Police suspect the rings were stolen from either a jewelry store or during a break and enter.

In addition, police are asking any jewelry store owners to contact them if they know anything about these rings.
