Seventy-four calls for service kept police busy Saturday night.

"The majority of the complaints were noise and Halloween related," said Ridge Meadows RCMP Cpl. Alanna Dunlop.

On one file, police were called to a roll-over crash on 105 Avenue, just north of the Lougheed Highway.

The driver, and lone occupant, of the black SUV received minor injuries and he tried to run away when he heard the police were attending.

"One thing he hadn't thought of was at the time he was dressed as a prison convict in a black and white striped costume," said Dunlop.

Witnesses directed police to the man who was just up the road. He had been drinking, but was not legally impaired. Other Motor Vehicle Act offences are being contemplated.
