A cab driver was struck Friday, Dec. 21 on 272nd Street just north of Lougheed Highway in Whonnock.
The incident occurred just after 9 p.m., when the driver was standing out of his vehicle on the side of the street, according to police reports.
Emergency crews described the road conditions as slick and icy at the time. It's believe another driver, heading south on 272nd, hit black ice, lost control, and collided with the cabbie.
The cab driver suffered numerous cuts, bruises, and a possible broken leg. But there were no life-threatening injuries, according to Ridge Meadows RCMP.
Police, fire, and paramedics were all called out for the accident.
