Dear Editor,
It is more than a little ironic, and unfortunately, not surprising, that Premier Christy Clark has not spoken up to condemn Fort Langley-Aldergrove MLA Rich Coleman's bullying behaviour around the Surrey casino project.
Days before the controversial casino vote, Coleman, the Minister responsible for gambling, called some Surrey city councillors with a warning: if they voted no to the proposal, they could forget about a new casino anywhere in Surrey.
Completely inappropriate!
Ms. Clark has expressed consistent opposition to bullying since her days of a radio announcer at CKNW. Apparently that does not extend to her own minister. By not speaking up, she exposes her hypocrisy and appears to condone the behaviour.
