This year, the Earth Day planning committee is partnering with the arts council to host a free social media workshop.

That workshop – lead by The Social Chicks – is being held Saturday, March 2, from 1 to 3 p.m., at The ACT.

The workshop is open to all artists – visual, performing, literary, and other – who live in Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, or Katzie First Nations and want to learn more about using social media to promote themselves and their work.

Even though it’s free, any artists interested in participating, they must RSVP to leanne@mrrecycling.org or mapleridgeearthday@gmail.com.
