I thought your article on pit bulls [Breed language irks dog lovers, July 24, TIMES] was well done.

You hit the nail on the head when you indicated that not all pit bulls are aggressive. The picture enclosed is of Rocky our dog, probably the gentlest dog I have ever met.

Rocky lives in Mexico at our home there, where there is also a tiny Mexican Chihuahua and they are truly the best of friends.

The little one wouldn't even make a good snack and there has never been any question of letting them be together.
