Maple Ridge’s Drew and Jonathan Scott are starring in a brand-new property adventure show, as they help homeowners find their dream home, then upgrade and sell their existing home.
Buying and Selling with the Property Brothers premiered last month on the W Network and is a spinoff of sorts from their original show Property Brothers.
Drew is the real estate agent, while Jonathan is the contractor, both of them earning their respective licences in Alberta, where they headed after graduating from high school in Maple Ridge.
In Buying and Selling with the Property Brothers, as soon as Drew finds the right home, the race is on to buy the dream house and sell their old house quickly before breaking their budget with two mortgages.
Also coming soon for the identical twins is this summer’s Brother vs. Brother. In the six-part series, each brother will pick a team of home improvement experts to renovate a property, with the goal of raising the value more than the other team. A competitor who didn’t succeed at the challenge will be eliminated at the end of each episode.
Drew and Jonathan are also giving fans an all-access, unedited, behind-the-scenes look at their lives between filming with BroCam, a collection of one to two minute webisodes.
The twins will be in town to film Buying and Selling with the Property Brothers in March, according to Danielle Sefton, publicist for Corus Eentertainment.
