Hundreds of families participated in the Pathfinders Youth Centre Society free children’s carnival in Memorial Peace Park on Sunday, including seven-year-old Michelle Hyde of Langley and three-year-old Taylor Beaudoin of Maple Ridge. Showers held off until after organizers concluded the four-hour party that featured games, arts and crafts, facepainting, popcorn, cotton candy, bouncy castles, and other kids-related activities.
