It’s been a great couple years for Maple Ridge singer Hilary Grist. She won $15,000 last year and now she is on her first international tour.

Grist departed Sunday for her Asia Tour –with her full band in tow. Highlights include four showcase shows at Tokyo’s legendary Cotton Club and headlining festival performances at the Busan International Rock Festival and Ulsan Music Festival in South Korea.

She won $15,000 for fourth place in the highly competitive Peak Performance Project in November, has had her music featured in Degrassi, Continuum, Being Human, and Endgame, released nine music videos, and just finished a new album of original lullabies slated for release in the fall.
