A $2,000 donation to the Family Education and Support Centre means the non-profit can develop more multicultural programming.

The donation came from the Ridge Meadows South Asian Cultural Society, with whom the family education centre organizes Diwali celebrations, said Jassy Duggal, multicultural services centre coordinator with the family education centre.

"The funds that have been contributed to our organization will be used to develop multicultural programming and services that are not funded by government," Duggal said.

"The board, staff, and membership of our society extend our thanks to the board of directors and membership of RMSACS and looks forward to a long and productive partnership," she added.
