New ramp for CEED Centre

Volunteers Christian Iversen, Rick McWhinney, and executive director Christian Cowley worked on the new wheelchair ramp at the Community Education on Environment and Development (CEED) Centre on Thursday. The society’s fundraiser in April – Cheers to the Planet – was the source of the funding and McWhinney donated his professional services designing and building the ramp. The CEED Centre occupies a heritage building, is open to drop-in visitors, and offers a resource library with environmentally oriented publications.
