Angel Twedt is only 44 years old. She is already confined to a wheelchair with a paralyzed left leg and left arm.

She dreams of witnessing her three-year-old Elle see her first princess on a Disney cruise to Alaska.

Twedt has an aggressive form of multiple sclerosis, said her caregiver Nina Unger.

"There's nothing they can do for her now," Unger added.

Doctors advised Twedt to create some positive memories for her children. She was told to enjoy her time with her family now, as they predict she will be blind or bedridden within two years.

Multiple sclerosis is most often diagnosed in young adults, aged 15 to 40, but it can also affect children, some as young as two years old.

According to the MS Society of Canada MS is unpredictable, affects vision, hearing, memory, balance, and mobility. There is no cure.

Twedt has had MS for 16 months. She learned about the disease in October 2011 and by December of the same year she was already in a wheelchair.

"That's how quick it was," Twedt said.

"In 16 months I haven't yet had a remission," she added.

"I can barely see out of my left eye and I really want to see my daughter see her first princess."

The Disney cruise to Alaska is reserved for July 15.

She had to choose a place that was not too expensive and not too hot because of her condition.

"If I can make $1,700 at the fundraiser then we can move the date up to June 15 - and move to an outside cabin with a window," Twedt explained.

A pub fundraiser, which Twedt will try to attend, is being planned for this Saturday (March 16) at the Witch of Endor Pub.

For $20, participants can choose between beef, chicken, or veggie burger, with fries, and a choice of beer, wine, or single highball.

They will also be having a 50/50 draw, and mini readings and or healings for 15 minutes for $20, a toonie toss for a 60-pounder, and a silent auction, and a bid auction for 1988 BMW 530i.

March 16 also happens to be Unger's youngest son Kyle's 19th Birthday.

"So we will also be singing him the birthday song and have some birthday cake. So dessert is also included," Unger added.

To make a donation contact Twedt via email angel200219694u@hot-mail.com or buy a ticket to the fundraiser at the Witch.
