The hallways of Haney Place Mall teemed with zombies and superheroes - and a few Thomas the Trains and princesses as well - on Thursday evening's Hallow's Eve.
Several of the merchants had dressed up as well and some had made Halloween-themed dispays as well.
The mall at 224th Street in downtown Maple Ridge has been hosting the Halloween trick-or-treat event for several years, and this year there were upwards of 3,000 people taking part.
Jaime Yerbury brought her Power Ranger son Cohen and Buzz Lightyear son Hayden to trick-or-treat at the various stores and was happy to be under cover.
"It's nice and dry," she said of the mall event. "The kids can wear their costumes without being under five layers."
