Caring Place food services manager Tim Sarsfield and a team of volunteers including about 60 local realtors – served up a Thanksgiving Day supper for about 450 people at the annual dinner at St. Patrick’s School on Monday.
Except for a few veggies and potatoes, all the food went, Sarsfield reported, adding that everything went smoothly with “lots of good volunteers this year.”
Prior to the dinner, Salvation Army Captain Orest Goyak, the church’s pastor, led the crowd in prayer, giving
thanks for the day’s bounty.
