he Meadowridge Parent Guild is hosting its first annual Feast-¬ival on Sunday, Sept. 293 at Meadowridge School, 12224 240th St., Maple Ridge from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feast-¬ival is a celebration of food and fun for the whole community.
The Food Truck crazes comes to Maple Ridge with the Meadowridge “Eat Street” featuring the cream of Vancouver’s food truck crop including acofino, Hunger Management, Holy Perogy and Re-Up BBQ.
After savouring the sumptuous fare, there will be free swag and exciting doorprizes with thousands of dollars of prizes being given away every fifteen minutes. Attendees can peruse the local offerings at the Vendors Market - Haney’s Farmers Market and others will be on hand to with homemade preserves, to natural products, and fresh produce, sample traditional afternoon tea at the British Pavillion, take home a 10-inch deep-dish apple pie made by Meadowridge students, and enjoy cool beverages on the Lordco adult patio. There will be raffle baskets, 50/50 draws, and upbeat entertainment provided by Jack FM.
Feast-ival is free to enter, and there will be family-oriented activities for all ages, including the BC RoadSafe a family-fun zone, the Castle Fun Park putting contest, a ball hockey touranment, facepainting, pony rides, an old-fashioned cake walk, and memory-making photo booth.
