Betsy Van Herwaarden took a recent trip to Milford Sound in New Zealand, and had her photo taken with a copy of her hometown newspaper, The TIMES, during a stop at the Moariki Boulders.
Thornhill residents Cheryl and Clive Williams recently toured Spain, which included a stop at the Rock of Gibraltar, where they had a picture taken with their hometown newspaper, The TIMES.
Maple Ridge’s Marcus and Elyssa Hutchinson recently joined their cousin Hannah Ingram, from Sparwood, for a fabulous nine-day family vacation at the Barcelo Maya Beach Resort on the Mayan Riviera of Mexico, taking along an old but sentimental copy of their hometown paper, The TIMES, on their journey. The picture on the front page of the newspaper is of their “buddies” taken on Canada Day 2011. Since they couldn’t actually take their friends along on their vacation, this was the next best thing.
