. The Wizard of Oz, put on by the musical theatre group of the Bergthorson Academy of Music, is coming to the main stage at The ACT. Performances are on Jan. 18 at 7 p.m. and Jan. 19 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are available at The ACT: $12 in advance, four for $40, or $15 at the door.

. There will be a free artist presentation at 11 a.m. by Shari Pratt, who currently has an exhibit at the Maple Ridge Art Gallery entitled Lost and Found. The show runs until Feb. 2.

. A pub night will be held at Samz Neighborhood Pub at 19267 Lougheed Hwy., Pitt Meadows, at 6 p.m. to benefit charity work in Rwanda. Tickets are $20 and buys a burger (beef, veggie, or chicken), a choice of side, and a beer. There will also be a silent auction, prize raffle, and a 50-50 draw.
