Children were entertained by Dilly the Clown, while their parents enjoyed listening to the band Greasy Lizardz and watched the Sionnaine Irish Dance Academy perform at the second annual Sham-rock Shake on Saturday.

The crowd of festival goers wore green to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in the Meadowvale Shopping Centre parking lot.

The event was organized by the Pitt Meadows Community Association.

There were games, prizes, a hotdog barbecue, balloons, face painting, a colouring contest, crafts, and much more.

Next up for PMCA is the annual Easter egg hunt with a barbecue by Stomping Grounds Bistro. This will be held March 31 in Osprey Village. For more information visit www.ospreyvillage.com.
