McNally dead at 68

 

 
 
 

Douglas James McNally, the Maple Ridge man who pleaded guilty for importing and distributing child pornography last year died on Nov. 7 at age 68.

NcNally was handed a 90-day jail sentence on Nov. 29, 2011, but was told he can serve his time on the weekends.

He pleaded guilty to one count of importing or distributing child pornography. A second count of possession of child pornography was stayed.

The local senior downloaded photographs that depict child pornography, and he had them on his personal computer.

At the time of his arrest on June 27, police reported that McNally had downloaded photographs depicting child pornography.
