Choreographer Helene Langevin and the company Bouge de la bring a playful, spirited exploration of colours, line, and movement to The ACT this weekend.
Onstage will be an artist's studio, a space for invention and creativity that is full of surprises. Ideas burst forth, as the four dancers - Audrey Bergeron, Nicolas Labelle, Jean-Francois Legare and Jessica Serli - treat the studio as a magical treasure chest, playing with every-thing they find: fabric, frames, paintings, props, and accessories. Inventive and curious, they alter and transform the objects at hand in a game where there is only one rule - to have fun.
Bouge de la will be at The ACT, 11944 Haney Pl. on March 2 at 2 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at The ACT ticket centre, by calling 604-476-2787, or by going to www.theactmapleridge.org
