One Maple Ridge resident, 12-year-old Erika Bernard, was on stage at the PNE Star Showdown on Sunday. She was one of 10 children chosen to compete in the semi-finals. Despite presenting a beautiful lyrical dance routine, she did not make the cut. It was unclear before deadline if fellow Maple Ridge adult Matt Kennedy, a singer and guitarist, won his division and advanced to tonight’s finals.
