An SUV crashed into a home on the 24600 block of McLure Avenue in Albion this afternoon (Friday) cutting off the gas, electricity, water, and starting a small fire.

No one was hurt, but emergency personnel were on site for several hours in the afternoon after the 3 p.m. crash as neighbours surveyed the damage.

The SUV was heading west when it lost control and drove across one lawn, taking out several hedges and crashed into the front portion of the house and through the exterior all of the house’s carport.

“No one was injured in the incident, and the matter is under investigation by police,” said Cpl. Dave Ewert.
