Coast Mental Health is inviting nominations for its 2012 Courage to Come Back awards, which honour British Columbians who have overcome big challenges in life and then have gone to help others.

The awards are given in the following categories: addiction, medical, mental health, physical rehabilitation, social adversity, and youth.

The nominee might be a friend or a neighbour, or a colleague, individuals who inspire people around them with their courage, strength, and drive to give back.

Their stories will be featured in the media and then on May 17, they will be honoured at the Courage To Come Back Awards gala with their friends, families and other special guests. The deadline for nominations is February 20, 2012.
