Dear Editor,
When I look at the new B.C. government cabinet, I see two lawyers, two doctors, a veterinarian, a teacher, a banker, a college business instructor, an accountant, several very successful business owners, a few former executive directors of community organizations, several experts in municipal government and law enforcement and an ex-Harvard economics professor.
The group is led by a premier who is an outstanding communicator with a sincere interest in helping families, creating jobs, and balancing the budget.
Collectively, they must have at least 200 years of legislative experience.
The group looks very solid to me, and those of us on the political centre-right had better think very carefully when we consider replacing this current, competent team with the bickering BC Conservatives as a free enterprise alternative to the NDP.
